Jessica and Stephan met in Lubbock, Texas in the fall of 2004. Mutual friends of theirs had an after football party and both were invited. They began to talk and found a subject that both could agree on, trucks. Stephan had a Bronco and Jessica was a fan.
The conversation led to more conversations and after some hardheadedness by both of them, they started “officially” dating in November of 2006. They made trips up and down I-35 to see each other, stopping only to get kolaches at The Czech Stop in West, Texas. Stephan moved to Houston for a work opportunity and Jessica was close behind, taking a job in Houston as well. On February 22, 2008, while dancing to one of Jessica's favorite songs at the couple's favorite little dancehall, Stephan asked her to be his wife. Their relationship is one of love for God and each other, both knowing that without Him, they are mere bodies.
In their spare time they love to travel together, watch old movies (Jessica is even thoughtful enough to let Stephan burn the popcorn just a bit), take pictures, and cook. They will be residing in Houston, Texas.

Stephan is currently working at Meridium, Inc. in Houston, Texas where he is a Technical Consultant. He loves planes, flying just to fly, reading, taking random pictures, helping Jessica with her green thumb, and trying not to snort when he laughs.

Jessica is a math teacher at Stratford High School in Houston, Texas. When she's not busy making sure her students are learning, she watches Texas football, loves cooking new recipes, letting Stephan know that he has already seen an episode of Law & Order, and two-stepping to Texas Country.
